Cities Revealed

The aerial photograph used in the Virtual Norwood 3D Map is provided by kind permission of The GeoInformation® Group Ltd. It is derived from the Cities Revealed® 25cm resolution image database and is displayed at a lower resolution of 10m. It covers an area of 5km by 7km.

The visible area shows the whole of Norwood, including West Norwood SE27, Upper Norwood SE19 (Crystal Palace, Norwood New Town) and South Norwood SE25. But you can also see parts of other neighbouring areas such as: Tulse Hill, West Dulwich, North Dulwich, East Dulwich, Dulwich Village, Honor Oak, Forest Hill, Streatham, Streatham Common, Upper Sydenham, Lower Sydenham, Penge, Norbury, Anerley, Thornton Heath, Selhurst, Woodside and Elmers End.

Cities Revealed® has been recognised as a creative and innovative product for the Millennium by being awarded the status of Millennium Product by the Design Council of Great Britain. The award was made by Mr Tony Blair, Prime Minister following his challenge to businesses to prove that Britain is the creative powerhouse of the world.
