I thought I just hadn't previously noticed how bright the pavement was at the corner of Westow Street and Church Road. But yesterday evening I saw workers jet-cleaning the pavements all the way along Westow Street. Looks lovely in the sun.

How can we persuade the other councils to pull together and have both pavements cleaned...

Maybe the first thing to do it stop the residents from letting their dogs c*** all over the pavements in Crystal Palace...I can't believe how much dogc**p is pasted all over the pavements, particularly on Central Hill...just shows a general lack of respect to others....

This is the third night they've been at it. Can only be a good thing, though I was worried before they started and all I saw Thursday evening was environmental services and "mobile response" or something on the vehicles! They were parked around Haynes Lane by Pizza Hut and gave the impression something sticky had happened but it does seem they're just cleaning.

Council tax being put to good use outside an emergency? Never seen the like before.

friday night they were by pizza hut and the hollybush store. they were very nice and stopped spraying to let me past both on the way to sainsburys and the way back! although i did almost trip up because of their hose!
