South Norwood's long awaited coffee shop has finally opened, hurrah!

I think it's called No. 10 (the shop front isn't named as yet but it's the red and black stylish looking corner premises on the high st, can't miss it - puts the other, er, cringeworthy caff offerings in the vicinity to shame). Please do go in there and say hello - the owner Mike is very friendly and eager to get feedback from Snorewoodites like me.... I believe it won't be long before they are doing brunch, which means even I could be temped away from CP on a saturday

I was in there today and like you was pleasantly surprised by what was on offer. Cosy inside and great coffee.The fascia signs are now up and can confim it is called No.10.

Apparently it's owned by the manager of Northwoods. That must be a sign of belief in the area.

I went to No. 10 today and I have to say it is great!

The staff were unbelievably friendly and service great - and it's a real asset to South Norwood.

Great paninis and coffee and feels very trendy and cool - might be a reason for me to travel to South Norwood again. I was only there to visit the bank and normally frequent the coffee shops of SE19 instead.

They've also got high chairs, sofas and a plasma TV showing Sky News. If they got wi-fi then it would be the perfect caff....

If more people know about it, I think it could really take off as a place to go/meet. I wish them every success and hope people will visit it and help South Norwood to rejuvenate by supporting their local new business ventures.

Must be quite successful. Went there today, my second visit. and discovered that Mike, the manager, has just returned from a holiday in Las Vegas!
He said it was for educational purposes but I wouldn't gamble on it! ....nice coffee once again.
