Thanks to all for helping to make the Beer Festival a spectacular success. We actually went through 33 firkins (9 gallons barrels)in 24hrs of trading, over the next 24hrs ie Sun and Mon, 15 firkins so overall about 3300 pints of real ale, way above my expectations. In October last year we sold about 2300 over the same period.
The next festival (providing i'm not selling popcorn) will be in October and i guess with at least 60 ales !

Well done Rick, Angela and all your staff - quite a feat, and hugely enjoyable (although it did look a bit hot behind the bar!).

I am ashamed to say I am not a real ale quaffer, but my companions certainly helped to drink the kegs dry (really liked the sparkling wine though - will definitely be back for more) Posted Image
