Popped into Joanna's this morning, and I'm delighted to say they will hopefully be next on the blog. Have also spoken to Do South, Popiel, Bookseller Crow and Belle Coco. Will probably give Poundstretcher a miss though!

Good news. Joanna's are consistently excellent... Make sure you post a link on their review page in the restaurant section. :)

Read your blogs this afternoon, but have only just been granted access to write! Wanted to say that I think it's brilliant, and I'll look forward to your updates.

That's amazing. Wondered where those gates at the Alma came from.

A great blog! And I've been looking for a metalworker to make me an item - what serendipity! :)

Thanks GillW, Elmo & Love_CP for all your nice comments. It was an interesting one this one, particularly as he's a virtually invisible business compared with the shops and restaurants already featured. If it gets him work, that would be great.

Nice article. I've actually tried to find his business a few times, but never found a sign or place that looked like an active workshop. Will try again.

Thanks Ziwa. It's very discreet! Heading down Carberry away from Westow st, go down alley between that large open warehouse roof and the first of the terraced houses. Alley goes round to the left and its at the far end

Slightly late with new post on the blog today. The builders are ripping out the bathroom, so all a bit chaotic. Anyway this week's subject is a certain local bookshop. Here it is:
