I haven't heard anyone demanding table service in those places so I suspect its a one off - you get bad behaviour in many places, gastropub or not.

We went there over the week-end and we bought had burgers. The food was good, nothing amazing but a good pub food. The burgers were both tasty and cooked nicely.

The service was superbe, both the young guy at the bar and the black lady serving us at the table were super nice and very attentive ... thumbs up !!!

p.s. we went there around 3pm to avoid the overcrowding of buggies adn screaming kids!

Had a really really nice lunch in there today; the burger for herself, and the mushroom linguini for me, with a side of rocket salad, not to mention couple of glasses of white and a pint of Wandle. Bloody lovely it was, and in a very nice relaxed atmosphere. Love that place!
I make mixes, some of which are quite good. My wife and I cook things too.

I went in the other night for something to eat. We both had burgers and a couple of drinks. I had to go to the bar to order my food & drinks, take my own drinks back to the table. Our burgers & cutlery were carried out to us. I had to go back for the next round of drinks and then back to the bar and pay. When I got home I saw on the bill that I had paid the 12.5% tip surcharge as it was automatically added - it was me who had done all the legwork! I don't mind tipping when I have had good service but this just takes the biscuit!

We had a lovely meal here yesterday afternoon - the grub was sublime! Maybe we were lucky with the service but we ordered foor and wine from our table - the lovely barman/waiter stopped by frequently.

I just dont get this place - I dont know if I should be ordering a cup cake or a pint at the bar! Its so bright and open too - reminds me more of a coffee house than a pub. But plenty of people are enjoying it and it replaced a truly awful pub so its a gain to the area, even if its not a gain for me.

I guess if you just want real ale or an old fashioned environment try G&G or The Bell - the Sparra works for me! :)

Sorry to disappoint Dazza, but I imagine it will be in the upstairs room with measures taken to stop peeping toms.

Do you know if this is this a teaching class, or is there just a model?

No idea - just saw the advert on the Sparra facebook page.

It might be worth asking the question via the fb page? http://www.facebook....5921652?fref=ts

Went here for the first time on Tuesday and it definitely has a restaurant feel to it, from the delicious complimentary bread and carafe of water with my meal to the *cough* price.

Service was very friendly too.
Love The Triangle...
