Gave the larder a spring clean over the weekend and found these. No idea where they've come from or what they are. I wondered if they'd fallen off the incoming earthbound satellite - we are not too far away from 25 Church Road??

Any ideas please.

They are vinodeflectori - designed to cunningly disguise the amount of wine bottles accumulating in one's abode ;) (hic)

Ah I wondered where they had got to... they are from when I first moved into London, I experimented with making home-made pizzas. Watch out Efisio...

They are not wine bottles SL - they are essential cooking ingredients - Calvados and Courvoisier - hic hic ;)

Bonus point to Dazza for correctly identifying the 1.5L bottle of pastis! Good spot

Looks like pizza and oven chips will be on the menu next week!

Don't worry Summit Lover, it's only a reserve... for when the Laphroaig has run out.

They are oversized tops for grated Parmesan sprinklers.
If you have a look there should be a giant pepper grinder to go with them. Then you really can go into the Pizza business! :)

They came in packs of two I think. Peter Jones, darling, not Lakeland.

That made me laugh Archie!

I still reckon they fell off the satellite - just look at the teflon coating - very outer space!

Are we 100% sure they are do with the pizza making business?

Don't know if this is 100%, but just spotted a batch of them described as Pizza dish, in Pondstretcher.

How spooky is that - Definitely off the satellite then - just missed its target. ;) Looks like it's pizza and chips on the menu then next week. Will report back with results.
