Guten Morgen! Heute starten wir mit einem Genuss-Zitat:

"Daß uns eine Sache fehlt, sollte uns nicht davon abhalte, alles andere zu genießen." von Jane Austen, die am 16. Dezember 1775 geboren wurde.

You'd better get used to it folks ;) :D

For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we'll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne.” Robert Burns

"Racist people, interestingly, are never as polite as smokers. Have you noticed that? Smokers always go, "Do you mind if I smoke? Oh, you do? Okay, I'll go outside and have a cigarette." Racist people never go, "Do you mind if I'm racist? Oh, I'll go outside ******* blue people, eh? Coming here, steal our hamsters "
Eddie Izzard

Tee hee!

Psst Dazza/Chewy don't tell anyone but I submitted my support fpor the return of the boats last month - I did however flag up the need to address issues of biodiversity and as you are proably aware this can be done. Must say I was surprised at how some people got v agitated about the mere concept of BD.

Thought be apt to resurrect this thread with quotes of the religious kind - blessings and miracles:

"Every time I try to talk to someone it's "sorry this" and "forgive me that" and "I'm not worthy"
God - Monty Python & the Holy Grail

" in all fairness, we are not, in fact, the rescue committee. However, I have been asked to read the following prepare statement on behalf of the movement. "We the People's Front of Judea, brackets, officials, end brackets, do hereby convey our sincere fraternal and sisterly greetings to you, Brian, on this, the occasion of your martyrdom. "
Reg - Life of Brian

“We all remember how many religious wars were fought for a religion of love and gentleness; how many bodies were burned alive with the genuinely kind intention of saving souls from the eternal fire of hell”
Karl Popper

"Take away the violence and who will hear the men of peace?"
Lorraine Hansberry

I count religion but a childish toy, and hold there is no sin but ignorance.
Christopher Marlowe
