Whats all the fuss ? It is what he does on TV !

Apart from the last bit of his quip i agree with every word he said ! Why should i have to pay tax to ensure the public sector get their guilt edge pension !

However I would be upset myself if a contract was negated on i would be upset but these gold plated pensions are just unsubstainable !

PS Come on bring it on !

I love the sound bites the govn and the media churn out, repeated (if mis quoted) by the masses: 'guilt' edged ..... sigh.

I am behind the dispute, even though I didn't strike on the day. Although I don't like the man I don't think Clarkson did anything shocking - he was just being his usual bombastic self. His quip was more about BBC political correctness then anything else if you hear the fuller transcript. I was not remotely offended.

Like the sound bite of people just blaming this climate on people in the private sector ! Not all bankers or private sector workers have million pound bonuses & in a lot of cases dont even have a pension.

Sorry to be a spoilsport, but I agree with Dazza.

Much more cross about predictable outrage and calls for sacking of Jeremy Clarkson. What's this country coming to?

Eh? I don't blame this current financial crisis on the private sector. Calm down Dazza old chap - sink a bangla or summat :)

Agree with you there Palacegirl!

I spotted something tonight in a newspaper that made me want to post it on your 'Office Chair Wanted' thread, but it was locked.
Anyway, have now found out why you were searching for an office chair.

Bet the hills around here gave you good practise.

I thought it funny too but I never take what Jeremy says seriously as he is a light entertainer !

But 25000 people felt the need to officiallly complain to the BBC ( Prob all unison staff)
