Happy Christmas everyone! And here's to Christmas 2111. Her Majesty, the Queen got it so perfectly right today, once again.

You might not be celebrating it in 100 years.

Indeed, that would be a most accurate forecast.

I haven't got kids but I still love Christmas, particularly having a few days break from the daily grind, having a seriously sinful big plate of grub and meeting new people - we met some lovely (now good) friends in the pub a few Christmases ago and we met some lovely people (Hermit's folks) in the G & G yesterday plus some charming people in the White Hart subsequently. Oh yeah, and I still get excited about giving and receiving presents. The only bit I would happy ditch is the looped Xmas music in shops :(

true! - but there again if all this jesus stuff is true - son of god and all that - then I will probably enjoy it an the afterlife - but if it isnt true - then the whole thing is built on a false premise - celebrating theh birth of someone who it turns out was just a mere mortal or didnt exist - in which case we might aswell make it bernard manning next year
