Ah, yes, Pub Cluedo Chewy - good idea:

study = Westow House (has a one wall library)

hall = Black Sheep (long narrow hall-like space)

kitchen = White Hart ( open kitchen is a bar feature)

dinning room = The Alma (all those dining tables)

ballroom = Guatama (all that dancing)

lounge = Whetherspoons (all those settees)

conservatory = Sparrowhawk (all those windows)

billiard room = G&G (only pub in village with billiard table).

Let's match characters to posters:

Miss Scarlett = Miss Poddy
Colonel Mustard = Chewderode
Mrs White = Mrs Cunningham
Reverend Green = Axean
Mrs Peacock = Nanazola
Porfessor Plum = Ziwa

Time for a bita politicking about in the common room.

Here's a peek behind the scenes of David and Andrew's discussions about the state of the national wealth and what to do about it:

DC: What ho Lansley - fancy a spot of polo after the cabinet meeting?
AL: *clicks heels & bows* Thank you your Leadership that sounds delicious.
DC: Jolly good. Now be a treasure and let me know how we're going to shave billions off this years health budget?
AL: Simples - we'll introduce regional pay.
DC: Regional pay - never heard of it.
AL: If your Leadership would be so kind as to lend me his ear I will endeavour to enlighten him with this magnificent plan. The majority of the NHS workforce is outside London
DC: *interrupts* Where?
AL: Outside London your Leadership.
DC: Does that count Lansley?
AL: I think you will find that it does when there are hundreds of thousands of paypackets ripe for the picking. We tell NHS staff that we need to reduce their salaries because it is not fair on staff in the London area. NHS staff outside of the London region get more from their montlhy wage packet than those in the capital. This is a blatant regionalism. Why should a Dr in Hartlepool, on the same scale as one in London, have more expendable income every month?
DC: Jeepers creepers Lansley this is an outrage! We must put a stop to this abomination forthwith but how? We don't want those Marxists at the BMA knocking on our door again however I think this will go down well with the pleblic - I mean public. I can see it all over the front page "Government act to stamp out inequalities in NHS". Yes I like that Lansley - run along now...

More from the Department of Wealth:

DC: Lansley! Lansley! Did we make today's front pages?
AL: * In a flap, runs to DC's office, armful of tabloids, trips on entry, slides across office floor on knees, comes to a halt in front of DC*
DC: On your feet Lansley and show me the headers.
AL: Your Leadership - there has been a bit of a mix-up and ...
DC: Mix up? Mix up? We don't do mix ups here at the DoW Lansley. We do strong, clear leadership and financial strategy setting. Didn't you read the JD before applying?
AL: Yes your Leadership, of course I did but the mix up is not with the DOW it's with the chaps running the DCMS.
DC: This better not have anything to do with Murdoch & Sons. Get Jeremy on phone after you've shown me the papers.
AL: The boys at the DCMS did use their influence with Rupert to get the article on the front page of the dailys but that's not the issue...
DC: Jesus wept Lansley - cut to the chase I haven't got all morning.
AL: There's no easy way to berak this to you but there was a typo and the headers now read..

AL drops the pile of newspapers on DC's desk. The front page of the Telegraph now reads -

"Government act to stamp out NHS"

*DC's phones begin to ring.*
