Hello all,
Hermit and I have organised the next VN Social, which will be in the Grape and Grain Pub in Crystal Palace, from 7 pm on Friday 20th July. A VN Social is essentially an opportunity to meet up with old and new members in the area and to have some fun. All welcome - especially any newbies, it would be great to meet you, including any 'lurkers' that haven't posted yet.
For those of you not familiar with the pub it is on the corner of Crystal Palace Triangle at the top of Anerley Hill where it meets Church Road. The pub is large and friendly, not overly noisy and has a good mix of ages. There are a fabulous range of real ales (12 ales on tap permanently and two others on gravity) and a very good selection of wines. There is also a lovely new pub pup called Boris who is certainly worth visiting!
