Does anyone have in their shed enough cement and sand to relay one solitary brick that has become detached, rather treacherously, next to a step in my garden? I only need a handful, I imagine, and it seems a waste to buy a bag each of the two! I'd be ever so grateful, if so.

Hi Gill, funnily enough I do and am also doing an estimate on your close this coming week so could drop it off.
PM me if interested.

So far, VN has gained me some brownies (in exchange for a set of unwanted weights), the loan of a leaf vac, a huge bag of home-grown pears, lots of recommendations for tradesmen (including my own lovely neighbour Fredi, handyman extraordinaire) and a whole heap o' new friends - oh, and a new house
PS Elmod, where can we get our hands on a set of MattVN's business cards so we can spread the VN love?

Gill, have left the sand/ cement where you requested. I knew it was the right house when I saw half a dozen huge snow shovels!

Ha ha ha - and several bags of salt! I like to be prepared. What with all this rain, am taking delivery of the Orchard Grove canoe next week.
Thanks ever so much!
