Andy Murray reaching national treasure status - quite moving.

(I know this should be under Things that make you fill up)

Amazing achievement by Roger Federer.

Hey charlie, he'll be back. He's done really well and there's not a better player to lose to. Here's to lots of excellent future Wimbledons.

Sniff, I know AWS, it was a great match ( reason to be cheerful) - but it brings back memories of all the past Wimbledon tears. Poor Jana Novotna at 5:44

Hmm.... am afraid that Wimbledon does very little for me - apart from annoy me when games over-run and knock tv schedules askew.

Well there we go, a sad end to the thread. Which was about Wimbledon, for those who appreciate it. Anyhow, Andy Murray will definitely be back!

I absolutely love the tennis and am sad Wimbledon is over. Also sad that Andy Murray lost but it was a great run this year and we mustn't forget the fantastic men's doubles final on Saturday evening. Congrats to Jonny Marray!

Not too long to go until the US Open and we've got tennis at the Olympics so there's more to come...

I've loved the late night tennis this year so apols to those who are pissed about the schedules. Schedules are so last decade though - it's all about on-demand now :).

I would be happy if they made the tennis truly late night - or rather early morning, say 03:00 to 06:00. Perfect! As for the on demand boxes gadget girl ( ;) ), I can't afford to pay the extra for a tivo box at the mo.

Anyway, I thought this thread was about things that make you tearful generally (as opposed to all about Andy Murray), in which case I'll plump for not getting my annual dose of Vit D this 'summer' and having to lug a brolly everywhere Posted Image
