Heard today that the Milton Keynes Lions will be moving to Crystal Palace NSC for the 2012/13 season starting in 23 Sept, and will be renamed as the London Lions.

Those of you that know me will understand that I'm quite the basketball freak and will enjoy being able to watch some reasonable quality ball locally. And it's great the the NSC will be used again for basketball after London Towers and Crystal Palace (under the amazing Alton Byrd) had so many years of success there.

Enjoy while you can as this is a one-year arrangement until they go to their new permanent home at the copperbox on the Olympic park.

Spooky I was thinking about this last night and meant to post about it .... good return to the Palace and lookign forward to the season to kick off ;-)

Great news. I have to say I've never really taken to basketball but the Olympics has changed my mind a bit. Seeing a couple of those really tight finishes has made me want to go to a game.
