....is to post on the welcome board before an initial post.
I'm Ian, my wife is on here somewhere but has more graduated to Tweeter or Titter, whatever it's called.
I avoid those sites as it p@@:;/- me off to try and read posts that seem to consist of terrible grammar and indecipherable shortcuts.
Anyway, my personal hates aside, I live in SN quite close to Selhurst Park, have done for ten years and love the area.
In fact, can't think of anything I dislike about the area or the people. Good neighbours.
I work for the dreaded TfL/LU driving the green line and am a rabid Trades Unionist and card carrying Labour supporter.
Anyway, hope to be a contributing member and to enjoy the site.

Ian

Ians, we have Phil Solo handling above-ground affairs, but will you be our subterranean Travel Correspondent? :)

Where I work is awfully far, far away and it's relevance to life above ground in sunny SN is hard to see, BUT, if anyone decides that they want to go to the bright, jingly city on the far horizon and need information on the iron horse who he go like worm under the earth - current industrial disputes notwithstanding - then I would be glad to report.

Posts on the said subject will be delayed as it takes a while for my eyes to adjust to the light and my fingers are always slick from having to slap on the factor 95 to protect my pasty white, fragile skin.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I always need heat as its cold, very cold, down there.
