Bit of a random question, but does anyone know where I can get 'twarog' in the CP area? I guess the Polish sklep in the Triangle would be a good start, but I haven't checked yet.

Err, I think so. I'm actually looking for 'curd cheese' and I'm told twarog is pretty much the closest you can get to that... but I'm happy to be corrected.

There's a Polish food shop on Penge High Street.. where the butcher used to be.. on the strip between Blenheim C. and the Pawlene.. if that's any help?

They sell two types (different fat content) in the newish Polish/Estonian/Russian shop on the Sydenham high street. It's opposite Subway/Wimpey. Was in there but an hour ago!

It's there but it didn't replace the Murray Brothers, thankfully.

You could also try Penge Food Centre. No idea if they have tvarog which I remember from days in Russia long ago, but I've never known a shop with so many different types of natural yoghurt so their dairy fridge is fairly impressive!
And I'm also grateful that Murray Bros is next door, not closed down. Try their chipolatas...
