Cllr. Getgood was a frequent poster on this subject. It would be good to hear the views of the recently elected councillors.

Not sure there is much they can say Fang. KICC are now openly using and promoting 25 Church Road as their network church with the exception of Tuesday and Sunday services. They are even offering counselling services from the building:

The planners seem determined not to enforce, which makes you wonder what pre-application advice has been given. It is extremely disturbing that a local planning authority/local authority would rather sell off a public park for *cultural/leisure* use ( & I use that term very loosely) than protect the only D2 leisure building in town. It's completely arse about face if you can pardon the expression.

Then if the Planning Dept. is failing to discharge its responsibilities are there grounds for a complaint to the Local Authority Ombudsman?

I doubt it Fang.

Hi Tom87, if you are reading this thread, I would be very grateful if you could contact the Cinema Campaign - www.cinema4crystalpalace.org.uk  please as the messaging system isn't working on VN.

Our email address is: hello@cinema4crystalpalace.org.uk

There are a couple of questions we would like to ask you regarding the imminent (apparently) change of use application for 25 Church Road.

Any help you can give us would be much appreciated as we seem to be the only local group in Crystal Palace that is championing the retention of the sole D2 use of the building.
