Just testing my £ sign!

No, not working, Matt!

I re-set my Tablet keyboard too, maybe that was what did the trick.

I would recommend dumping all your VN cookies zand logging back in again; I had to do that twice before clicking 'post' worked on Chrome, Safari, Opera or Firefox...
I make mixes, some of which are quite good. My wife and I cook things too.

Does that mean deleting it as a favourite/bookmark from my phone and PC?

You shouldn't have to change your favorites to get the cached images/smilies.

I'm going to login with a test member account and try and use the £ sign again here.

Testing the quote function and the £ sign... (from a non-admin, member account)

I haven't been able to replicate the issue as a 'member' rather than admin, but I did update one setting (language/locale) which may help.
Gill, could you try logging out and then back in. Then try to use the £ sign. It might have fixed the issue.

Is anyone else having trouble with:
1. emoticons not showing
2. quote not working
3. £ sign not showing correctly

Thanks for your help.

No, just go into your cookies, find the VN ones, and delete them. Then log back in here, and you should be OK.

Meanwhile, while quoting works, let's try the £ sign, and some B) signs...

Yep, seems OK.

I've tried to post from Google Chrome, but nothing happens. Apple Safari here we go...

Did you try the clearing cache and cookie thing AWS?

Why, no SL, it sounds a bit drastic... I quite like having a bit of history around the place in case I want to go back to sites. Is there a way of resetting history (and caches - whatever they are) just for VN? Cheers, AWS (wrap up warm)

Being a luddite AWS I have no idea :( But doing it just meant I had to re-enter a few passwords, nothing too major.
