For film fans in Beckenham, Penge and surrounding areas, who fancy a compliment or alternative to commercial cinema programming, we have started a 'not-for-profit' pop-up cinema at the new arts centre at Langley Park School for Boys, off South Eden park Road, Beckenham (minutes walk from Eden park rail station). Run and staffed by volunteer teachers, parents, sixth formers and members of the local community. All are welcome, subject to cert. and age T&Cs stated for each event.

Wed 26/6/13 - Hitchcock double-bill - recent release 'Hitchcock' (Cert 12A) bio-pic followed by 'Psycho' (Cert 15) - £12 for 2 films. FREE parking. Age 16+ only. 6.30pm refreshments for 7pm start.

Book here www.TicketSource.co.uk/FilmboxCommunityCinema

Thurs 11/7/13 - Sing-Along 'Grease' (Cert PG) - £8/£5 concessions.

FREE parking. Under 16s welcome if accompanied by an adult. 6.30pm refreshments for 7.30pm start. Fancy dress competition - live singing and dancing intro!

Book here: http://www.ticketsou...o.uk/date/64718

Both events above are in our large performance space, the Bromley Hall (but we're definitely in Beckenham!).
