We've lost more gorgeous buildings here than I ever knew existed. Anyone know of any other online archives for local history? I would love to know more about my street - our gardens back onto the cemetery and were built in 1904 or thereabouts.

Sadly every high street has lost a beautiful cinema or theatre in the last 50 years.  This is the Empire in Penge, demolished in the 60s:
