Edible Bus Station Ground Breaking Day

When: Sunday 20 October

Time: 11am - 2.30pm

Where: Crystal Palace Bus Station

With a little help from Crystal Palace Park Community Stakeholder Group - Crystal Palace Transition Town in conjunction with The Edible Bus Stop present a really exciting new project! The aim is to create a high impact, low maintenance edible garden alongside Crystal Palace Bus Station where currently there’s lawn running against the hedge to Crystal Palace Park. All are welcome to join us in breaking the ground, digging over, and preparing it for planting in spring. Come along, muck in, bring spades and forks(if you can), elbow grease and community spirit! In spring, planting will start in earnest with fruit trees and fruit bushes – Crystal Palace’s very own Edible Bus Station Orchard!

Contact  helen@city-farmers.co.uk - or just come along!
