We don't see many birds in our garden in Penge because there are so many cats on our street but we recently saw a female grey wagtail, which was pretty exciting! It drank from the pond and then hopped about on the paving. Really handsome!

Any twitchers out there want to share their local sightings?

Hello JOJ. Love wagtails and a grey one is quite exciting.

There is already a pretty extensive thread on bird life here (hope this works)

Sorry, I did search for a twitcher thread but didn't spot that one so thanks for posting the link, Redbunny23. Will get involved!

No need to apologise! Welcome aboard. The birding thread has been slow lately so new blood is great. I look forward to updates.

It has been very quiet in the bunny garden - I think there's so much bounty in the hedgerows this year they haven't ventured into gardens. Or maybe they just don't want my buggy nibbles :-(
