I'm planning to start a programme of maths classes.  They, initially will be aimed at years 6, 7 & 8 as a kind of transition programme.  The idea is to do enriching maths activities to supplement school work and allow children to get a real understanding for maths that will help them in school and life in general.

I would be interested to know how much interest there would be for this kind of programme and what kind of issues parents have noticed specifically to do with maths with those year groups.

I would also like to know if there are any homeschoolers out there who would like an input.
