It has been irking me this last week that they leave all their lights on all night.

Given that these guys took out a full page ad stating that their customer service was second to none I was APPALLED at the treatment we got when we asked to view a house in South Norwood. We were told that they were too busy to show us the property and that we "weren't in a good enough position" - whatever that means. They were arrogant and ignorant. AVOID.

And yes they leave their lights on all night! Shows how ignorant they are if you ask me.

Streets Ahead has eight new yellow Minis doing circuits of the one way system.

As a publicity stunt it was quite effective - it made me notice them (who wouldn't notice eight yellow Minis all in a row) but I do wonder whether it really helps the congestion and parking problems on the triangle... an interesting challenge... can you get 8 Minis to 'backfire' at the same time?

We are currently buying a flat through Streets Ahead and so far have found them to be very good.

OK ... lets be fair ... they were pretty good at getting our flat rented out in a short period of time and out tenants are lovely.

There is plently of competition out there - use someone else

I emailed them and asked them to remove their signs that have been at the top of Harold Road for centuries (well, ages), and they didn't bother to reply (or remove the signs). Not impressed.

Is it Streets Ahead that have two for sale signs attached to the fence near Gipsy Hill station?

Fair enough - did not read the forum rules to realise that we were only allowed to post good vibes .... thanks for tip about using someone else ... why didn't I think of that??

I do not recommend using this company and as the moderator points out there is plently of competition out there because that is what is so nice about CP - lots of lovely estate agents.

This was in your original comments and was left in situ. My comments are placed below the header marked Moderator's Notes.

You can still say that you did not like the service/product from Company XYZ as long as you don't go into any details about the nature of a complaint.

One of their "fun" minis was parked outside Gipsy Hill station this morning, helping to cause obstruction on that narrow stretch highlighted on a different VN thread recently.
Staff were handing out lists of restaurants in Crystal Palace !? Why ? Well, overleaf they were of course encouraging the reader to sell their property with them, and therefore perhaps move away from all those lovely restaurants.
Maybe tomorrow morning, staff from Tamnag Thai will be handing out lists of all the estate agents in Crystal Palace ?

Did anyone else see Streets Ahead fleet of "crazy" Mini's driving round the triangle bibbing their horns on Friday around 5pm?

Putting it mildly, this bit of promotion didn't work on me. In fact it put me off my pint....

I will use estate agents on word-of-mouth recommendations, reputation or because they offer a good service. I can't see a day when I will say "They must be competent and reliable, they drive colourful Mini's in convoy - what a crazy, fun group of people they must be."
