Dulwich Books & Southwark Libraries are delighted to host an event with Sophie Hannah and Fanny Blake to discuss their latest novels for Quick Reads.

Love reading? Love books?

It may surprise you to know that one in three UK adults do not read for pleasure, and one in six struggle to read at all.

Quick Reads are brilliant short new books written by bestselling writers. They are perfect for people who are just discovering reading for pleasure, but they are also ideal for adults who are learning to read for the first time.

Join two of this year’s Quick Reads authors, Sophie Hannah and Fanny Blake, and Quick Reads project director and books journalist, Cathy Rentzenbrink for a panel discussion about Quick Reads and reading for pleasure.

Sophie Hannah is the author of several bestselling psychological crime thrillers, including most recently, ‘The Telling Error,’ as well as several poetry collections and short stories.

Fanny Blake was a publisher for many years, before becoming a freelance journalist and writer. She has written three novels and is also Books Editor of ‘Woman & Home’ magazine.
