Hello

I'm looking for a French teacher once a week for private lessons. I am looking for a qualified French teacher with references.

My level is basic...I have a GCSE and A level in French but it was a long time ago!

Thanks

Just from personal experience

Check that the tutor is prepared to teach you at least 50% informal as on y va is much prefered to nous allons !

French teachers tend to teach grammer.  Very few French students pass French grammer. (cos it's really hard)

If written French is what you require then most teachers will do. If spoken French is what you require then your lessons need to be biased on the informal.

Ask your tutor to translate the written word Ben oui. The answer should be "just a sound before yes"  Bahh qui

???  Well, that's not how I'd translate it.  Depending on context as ever, of course.
