You may have read in the press of the person killing cats brutally in Croydon and Thornton Heath.
Well sadly they have now come to West Norwood. My cat was horribly killed on Friday in Thornlaw Road.
This vile evil person needs to be stopped and quickly. They have already killed over 30 cats, and although the police are aware, obviously with their resources there's a limit to what they can do.
Please be vigilant, look after your cats (this person seems to operate at night) and report anything suspicious to the police, and certainly report any attacks.
There is also a group called SNARL on Facebook (South Norwood Animal Rescue and Liberty) who have been great keeping this in the public eye and putting pressure on the police to act.

I'm sharing this info from the SNARL group on Facebook, as there were three animal killings in the Crystal Palace Triangle last Monday.

This is an urgent appeal for anyone who saw anything suspicious between the hours of 1700 on Sunday 17 January 2015 and 0600 on Monday 18 January in St Aubyns, Stoney Lane or Coxwell Street to please call us on 07957 830490 or 07961 030064 urgently or the police on the 101 non emergency number.
