I hope I am allowed to post this regarding the campaign to Save Fairfield Halls from Closure.  Croydon Council want to close it 'for a minimum of two years', which will in all probability, lead to it never reopening.  Our wonderful venue gone forever.

If you are interested in supporting Fairfield, you may wish to visit: http://www.saveourfairfield.org/

Also, to sign the petition: https://you.38degree...irfield-halls-1

There is also a Save our Fairfield Facebook page.

There was also a feature on London Live:

Croydon will lose it's only viable music and arts venue for an unspecified period - not only is that a loss of live events at Croydon, but a lost opportunity for school children to engage and perform at the venue and will impact a large number of other community projects that utilise the venue.  With a rich history for 54 years of music gigs (mega artists/bands love this venue and have performed there for decades), comedy events, family shows, etc, this is a Croydon asset that needs and deserves nurturing and protection through the proposed redevelopment.

All support for Fairfield Halls and its survival is so much appreciated.

Thanks, Gang x
