I make mixes, some of which are quite good. My wife and I cook things too.

Woodpeckers are in full hammer and spotted seven goldfinch round the seed feeder today - a very joyful if not colourful flock.

Hello! I'm new to the forum and to the area. I moved in to Penge last month.

We recently spotted a female, grey wagtail in our garden - I've never seen one before and our garden is pretty quiet on the bird front so far so this was quite exciting! Anyone else seen grey or yellow wagtails or anything else interesting this winter in the area?

Saw some lovely, long-beaked shovelers on the lake at CP park yesterday.

Blimey you're up early Redbunny! Thanks for the reminder, might try and do an hour tomorrow morning.

Pair of magpies in the garden picking up nest material. Long tails tits are back too.

We settled down to start. In the garden, including up our big tree were:

6 squirrels
4 magpies
1 big crow
3 pigeons

Don't think we'll see much with that lot scaring them off. We'll try again later.

(6 squirrels!)
