Another thumbs up for Carrie from [ name removed - previous issue ] (!) (020 8670 0342) from me - she sorted out a couple of leaks at a really good hourly rate and gave me tips on how to sort it in the future. Really pleasant to deal with compared to some other companies I've had my fingers burnt with. :)

I can highly recommend Steve from S H Plumbing & Heating (contact details in earlier postings)
He did a fantastic job on my bathroom - very thorough and quality workmanship.
Would recommend him to anyone in an instant.

Sounds like getting a decent plumber is like pulling hens teeth.
I am desperate for someone to replace boiler.. at a DECEN T price.

I can add my recommendation for Steve from S H Plumbing (07711 670 651) - he turned up as arranged this morning and quickly fixed a leak and installed a timer on my boiler for a very reasonable price. Would definitely use him again. :)

A bit of a delayed post here, but Steve did my bathroom last month and I've been really happy with how it turned out. It took slightly longer than expected but Steve worked hard to get it all done, and for a very reasonable price too. Thanks Steve!

I also highly recommend Steve from S H Plumbing (07711 670 651). I needed a service and repairs for my boiler, and Steve couldn't have been more helpful, efficient or fair. He's on time and tidy, too!

Does anyone know of a good tiler/plumber. Due to constant absence my builder has taken seven weeks to half finish my bathroom. He's done a good job so far but it's taking forever so I'm giving him the heave-ho. The tiling needs finishing and the shower needs plumbing in. Any suggestions welcome

Thanks

I finished doing my own bathroom last year (I would say I am a competent DIYer), did most of the plumbing, plastering, electrics (for towel rail and mirror light only) tiling etc. The one thing I cannot stress enough is that if you get an electric shower, it MUST be installed by a professional who is qualified to do so. They are rated up to about 11KW (or 45 amps) these days and have numerous rules/regulations/tests to be carried out of which the layman frankly has no idea. Mixing that level of electric power with water results in death every time and shouldn't be taken lightly. Make sure you can get someone who can install it 100% safely. I must stress, they ARE safe if installed correctly.

Anything else in the bathroom, I'd probably have a crack at myself!

Carrie from Plummie Plumbers (020 8670 0342) fixed a bathroom leak for me - she turned up bang on time, was a pleasure to deal with, and charged me considerably less than other companies had quoted.

Thrilled with Carrie's work today.
Skilled, conscientious and chatty - what more could you ask for!?
