I'm just going to add to the list of people singing the praises of Carrie from [ name removed - previous issue ].

I used her for a small bathroom job on the back of recommendations on here. I'd certainly used her again.

She has a website (www.[ website removed - previous issue ]), reponds quickly to emails, and phone to tell you she's on her way over. All very modern and businesslike, in addition to an excellent service.

Howdy folks,

I have not read this whole thread so not sure if repeating what others have posted but...

I have to recommend Robert Glassbrook and his hilariously garrulous colleague Doug.

They did the plumbing for a bathroom install in my flat earlier this year and I promised to recommend them on here as others had to lead me to them.

Their work was spot on.

Another thumbs up for Robert Glassbrook: 07711 201041

Very strightforward to deal with and none of the {deep Mike Reid type accent} 'Gonna cost ya guvnor' attitude that often permeates this trade

Thank you so much for this thread. I had a leaky toilet and emailed Carrie on Sunday after coming on here, she got back to me right away and has just left my house.
In fact she was supposed to arrive at 11, got here at 10, finished the job quickly and looked at some other bits and pieces for me. She explained a lot of things to me and that helped a lot.

I recently used Steve, (07711670651) as recommedned on this board. He was there within an hour and got my combi-boiler working again. Charged 80, which I thought was fair, would definitely use him again.

Another satisfied customer of Carrie from [ name removed - previous issue ] (www.[ website removed - previous issue ])

She undertook a partial refit of the bathroom and tiling. Easy to deal with, turned up on time, friendly and professional attitude. Would definately use again.

And another big up for [ name removed - previous issue ] of [ name removed - previous issue ]. Fixed my long-time leaky shower and recommended a colleague to fix my blocked bath (Don the Drain (07973 370956). Both extremely friendly, professional and well-priced.

We just had a visit from Steve, recommended above, for our boiler service. Good job, reasonably priced, was able to schedule mutually convenient visit time...glad I contacted him. (For reference, the same service from the company that makes the boiler would have cost 1.85 times as much. The warranty is covered no matter who services it, so its fine to go with someone independent like Steve)

We have just used David O'Brien (07960 938621) to have our bathroom remodelled (including new shower, toilet, lighting etc) and can completely recommend him for both quality of work and excellence of service.

We had Dave O'Brien to do some work last week. Turned up on time, did a great job and didn't charge the earth. His number is 07960 938621.

Further to the numerous replies/recommendations above, i had Steve come and change the 3 way valve on my central heating system, which he did when he said he would and at the price he said he would. So overall, a happy customer, who is considerably warmer than before and has a reliable plumber stored in his mobile. For ease of reference, Steve's number is 07711 670651.

Just to add to all the great recommendations, we love JR Plumbing on Norwood High St, 020 87618841. We've used them for all our gas and water plumbing over the past 4 years and they've never let us down. They have always sent out very efficient, polite and friendly plumbers. Highly recommended!
