Was in B&Q Croydon today and noticed that they have white 'contract' bathroom suites by the exit/checkouts. Not sure what price they were.

Wickes were doing a complete white suite last year for under £200, including taps and waste.

There are some bathroom suites available cheaper on the internet, but would advise best to see what you are buying and to be able to measure it for fitting. Past experience has always been of problems getting new WC to fit in confined space and to it to align to existing soil pipe.

Why everyone thinks Homebase & B&Q are cheap is beyond me.

Silver try Scobles opposite Anerley Station they have good quality budget suites plus a better range of quality products you get better advice too.

They are always knocking out ex showroom gear as well .

Agree with Dazza - Scobles next to Anerley Station is the best bet.

We got ours for a knock-down price and they have a wide range of budget suites and are also normally quite helpful....

Check out the internet - my daughter got her new shower from a site (I don't know the name but could find out) at a fraction of the price in the shops.

Scobles sell on ebay as well, but it's worth visiting their showroom. Great plain suites and helpful staff. Very cheap indeed!

I would advise against buying a cheap suite but shop around for good brand names with bathroom essentials.

Bathstore have a big sale on at the moment. Their mock Victorian bathroom ware is heavily discounted for all those who want to recreate an 1880s feel to your interiors.

Plumbworld is quite cheap, got a new loo from them half price a few months back, you can also get nectar points if you go via the nectar website!.

Scobles is also great, they have been flogging off decent steel enamelled Kaldewei baths for £65, have one myself and its very nice :P
