Autumn's coming
The feeling on the Friday journey home from work (providing there's no kids on the bus with tinny R&B playing on their mobile phones but even they can't spoil it most of the time)
Virtual Norwood - a most pleasing resource
Crumpets and marmite with salted crisps and a mug of tea whilst watching unchallenging television

Oh and nanny goats (according to Ian Dury)

Brave and loyal are these guys

A coffee outside (or inside) cafe St Germain's over the weekend (although the food is best avoided, in my opinion), and perhaps a lunch special at one of our local fabulous restaurants on a lazy Saturday afternoon.

In no particular order:

A quiet country road suffused with the smell of fresh cow dung on a summer's evening near dusk.

The warm perfume of a sleeping cat

The earthiness of burning turf

The faint whiff of TCP (seriously)

..........dear me, I've come over all faint at my desk. Thank the Lord for the restorative sobriety of Excel.......

The feeling of walking offstage having done a really good show. Or made people laugh (intentionally, preferably).

I'll avoid any with sexual connotations.

Mmmmm quite agree about John Simm :P

My cats thinking they're so cool and smart and then falling off cupboards when stretching and looking at me like it was my fault :P

A glass (or two) of wine, a nice meal and a cuddle on the sofa watching a great film with the one you love
