If he wants to pick up business via VN I'm sure it would be worth his while registering on the forum. He can then be contacted even without revealing his phone number or email address. He could also use Google Ads with site targetting (link at the top of the page).

Yeah, but he is not eactly internet savvy, as anyone who meets him will soon understand :D

I also don't get the impression that he is short of work, actually, but maybe that is because, as someone said, there seems to be a shortage of tilers in the area!

Hello everyone, I know a great guy who is reliable, honest and very reasonable. We had our bathroom tiled floor to ceiling by him. Kieran Dean 07709321002 (Access Tiling) he also does Painting and Decorating and has a skill of making a bumpy wall look very smooth indeed. :D

Highly recomended

Cheers

'Spoiltdog' in the thread above did a good job on our kitchen, though there was a bit of last minute haggling about price.

I would also like to echo Rob Park’s recommendation of Kieran Dean of Access Tiling, who recently did a superb job of re-tiling a few small areas of my new kitchen, re-grouting to entire kitchen and cleaning the old tiles which now look new!
Very honest and reasonably priced and left the kitchen completely spotless.
Even phone a few days later to check if all was well.
Highly recommended.

Just wanted to recommend Colin Douglas, who has tiled the floor in my hallway and done an amazing job, really transforming the space. He worked similar wonders renovating my bathroom a couple of years ago too. You can reach him on 07961 397430 or coldoug@lineone.net.

Does anyone know a good tiler who has experience of working with large (90cm) high quality tiles and can tile a bathroom wall at short notice (end of next week)? Our choice of tile has left us without the necessary skills right in the middle of a bathroom refit

Flipping heck - that's over 35 inches! Didn't realise they made tiles that big Posted Image Have you got a giant bathroom?

Darren doesn't have a tile cutter big enough for these tiles Cathy

Ha! No, quite a small bathroom really, but a larger tile can make a small room look bigger. The tiles we're using are 90cm x 30 xm but will be cut to 75cm. We'll only need a couple of tiles on the horizontal and this will minimise the grout lines.

We didn't realise how difficult it was going to be to find someone who can work with these

Well, we did find a tiler who had the specialist tools to work with our very large bathroom wall tiles. He did a fantastic job but was quite expensive

We had our bathroom floor tiles laid by Darren, a local tiler. He did such a great job we asked him to tile our cloakroom and kitchen floors too and we're really happy with the result. He was reliable and reasonably priced too.

He can be contacted on 07816 543445 :)
