Had our last meal as CP locals in here. Great as ever.

Late dinner on Friday evening. Shortly after we arrived, the last other customers left. But we weren't rushed at all. Safe to say we had excellent service! Food delicious as ever, the wine too. Enjoyed the tagliatelle with crab. Can't wait to return.

I love that crab tagliatelle too. Had that a couple of Friday nights ago. The specials in here on Thursday last week were to die for. Four of us managed two lamb stew, one oven-baked trout and a chargrilled chicken. Phenomenal. All had dessert too. And Efisio's special take on a spritzer, except it's a bicycle. Cannot wait to go again.

Popped in for supper last night with Mrs C, very nice indeed with one criticism being that the calimari was a little on the chewy side. The monkfish/scallop special was awesome as was the crab meat tagliatelle. We'd planned to go for a while and will be back though we'll also have to try A Torre since that was absolutely packed (on a Wednesday night!)

This is one of our favourite CP restaurants. The best pizzas in the area (although I haven't yet tried Trattoria Raffaele in Sydenham yet).

Gorgeous dinner tonight. Vitel tonnato (veal with tuna sauce) one of my all time favourite was on the menu. The lamb was gorgeous. So was the affogato ..... niiiiiiiceeeee ....

Went on Sunday and had the Herbs Tagliatelle. It's rare I have the pasta there as I normally go for fish but I was looking to mop up a few pints of G&G Black Gold! The pasta dish was fabulous - very simple but tasty. My partner had the affogato for dessert LSPE - she's addicted to it and has it every single time we go.

well done to your partner Gekko - the affogato is a good reminder of my universities' days when the grandmother of a friend used to prepare it for us whilst we were reviewing for the exams ... worthy sleepless nights!

I think I'd love affogato but I can't do coffee after about 2pm without staying up all night.

If anyone has any doubt, LSPE is a personage who knows more than a little about Italian food! A rec from him really means something! :)
