I'm speaking purely as an accidental witness, you understand...

I mean, I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure if you go into a cubicle in groups of two or more, you clearly have other plans...

Have stopped going, as it hasn't lived up to its promise on opening

Too dark, too dingy, too loud at night, dreadful loos, drinks too pricey... I could go on.

Shame really - as it could have been so good.

I'm in here now and the WH relaxing Sunday is loud rock music and crap beer. And from what I can see an hour wait for food... Ok, it wasnt prfect, but I preferred it as the Bluebottle.

seats are really uncomfotable as well.

Went in there for the first time last week, despite living just down the road. Having had a few drinks, we decided it'd be fun to join in the salsa class (it was a Monday night). Seemed like a good idea at the time. Anyhoo, it was ok, drinks a bit pricey, a couple of slightly dodgy-looking characters at the bar but generally seemed quite nice. It was pretty quiet though, so I can only imagine what it's like at the weekend. Not sure I'm that bothered about finding out either.

Agreed - it reminded me of a student union bar, with that back room painted with black walls and all the grubby looking furniture. No atmosphere either. Not impressed, haven't been back.

Digging the lights outside - looking pretty funky and adds a sparkle to that corner of the triangle

Shocking place. Just had a miserable experience. Rude bar staff and manager, slow food order, not cooked properly when it arrived. When I complained I just got some lame incomprehensible excuse about a table numbers mix up and not even an apology. I asked for a refund which I eventually received. Horrible, horrible place. Will never go there again. CP really needs a good, family friendly place as an alternative to this utter dump of a pub.

Reckon the Grape and Grain across the road sounds more up your street (don't mistake it for the Cambridge midway though cos that definitely doesnt look family friendly - although never having set foot in there I may be doing them a disservice - so am willing to stand corrected on that one)

Started going in here recently during its quieter moments but sadly Monday night wasn't one of those. Had to give up talking to my partner cos the DJ was so loud (and crap). Makes you wonder sometimes whether these DJs are just playing for themselves or for the customers. Went across the road to the Grape & Grain where, somewhat surreally, they were playing the whole of 'Wish You Were Here.' Yes, that's crap too but at least I could hear myself think.

So, so you think you can tell
The White Hart from the Railway Belll-lllll,
Black Sheep from 'The Grain.
Can you tell the Holly Bush
From the Cambridge's Ale?
The Alma from the ??? (help me - need something that rhymes with "ale" to do with a Palace pub!)?
Do you think you can tell?
