Can anyone recommend any pub quiz nights in West Norwood?

Thank you.

The Mansion (on Gipsy Road) on a Tuesday - good, camp fun and also the White Hart (Church Road) on a Monday night - a bit more serious than the Mansion but just as good fun. I think the pub near Tulse Hill station also has a quiz but I don't know the details.

The Railway next to Tulse Hill station has a pub quiz every Thursday night.

Not really West Norwood I know, but the Alleyn's Head in West Dulwich has fun and low-key quizzes on Tuesday and Sunday nights. And it's only a 10 minute walk...

Someone told me a while ago that The Horns Tavern on Knights Hill did a pub quiz. I think it was on a Sunday but I can't be sure.

The blackboard outside the White Hart says they do one on a Monday night. I haven't been to it so can't vouvh for the quality.

I once did the Monday night quiz at the White Hart and thoroughly enjoyed it; they seem to put a bit of effort in so if the same people are in charge then I'd recommend.

I understand the Thicket Tavern hold a quiz night on Thrusday evenings, although I've not been to that one.

Ruth (Boblatina) and I would certainly be up for putting a team together. I know entertainment and history and a whole load of esoteric stuff, Ruth knows everything. We're useless on sport. We hope to be moving to the area in the next month or so and are keen to throw ourselves into the community in the most useless way possible. Only contact us if you are anally good at science and sums or a big burly sporty type keen on winning small prizes.

White Hart quiz v. good. However, bought out very competative streak in normally very calm other half... you have been warned! ;)

The White Hart doesn't tend towards the taxing or esoteric, by the way; and it was heading even further in the other direction last time I went. But that was several weeks ago, maybe it's all changed again.

My favourite White-Hart quiz question:

"You can't cry in space. True or false?"
Official answer:
"True, because there's no gravity in space"

Which is logically rather like saying you can't yawn in America because there is no water.

(I can laugh about it now...)

The White Hart Monday quiz is not too taxing and fairly light-hearted.

The Alma have started doing a quiz on a Tuesday night I believe, and I think the Dulwich Wood House do one on the same night. I've not been to either so I can't comment on whether they're any good or not.
