Sorry, I've been out the loop a bit recently and managed to miss the first one, and I can't make 5th March as I'm at the theatre that night :(
So.... hopefully I will be able to make the next one!

Is the reading group on tonight?

I haven't quite finished The Gathering - but believe I could do so by 7.30 pm tonight if necessary.

Or shall we postpone our meeting until next Wednesday 12 March?

I'm still up for meeting tonight; I can't do next Wed unfortunately. We could try to talk about the book without spoiling the ending for you??

That's fine for me. I'll see you at 7.30 pm at the Railway Bell.

I am so sorry I have got a stinking cold so will be staying in tonight. I have almost not quite finished the Gathering and look forward to hearing what the next book will be!

I love the sound of a book club, and hope to be able to join you for the one after next (unfortunately can't make the April date). I haven't read The Gathering yet... was the general opinion that it was worth the read? Hope you all enjoy Never Let Me Go as much as I did, and see you in May!

The Dulwich Wood House pub are closing on Saturday for refurbishment - I called and they confirmed it.

We are scheduled to meet there on Sunday 7 September at 1.00 pm. We had chosen Sunday afternoon so that we could sit in the garden.

A possibility is that we could meet on Tuesday 9 September instead.

Any other suggestions on the meeting place?

Hi, is the book group still going ahead? I haven't been for absolutely ages but would be interested in re-joining if it is. I'm not sure if posts re meeting this month are elsewhere as I only see the one saying that the venue is unavailable for Sunday and from what I can see the book is Escape but this seems an old post.
