LizzieC - we may have a social event in December, on the 11th, 12th or 13th. Would you like to nominate a couple of hearing dog friendly pubs that we can consider?

If the event is 11th December, count me in. Can't do evenings of 12th or 13th as I have to be up for work at 05:00 the following mornings, but I'm off on 12th Dec so can lie in and recover......

I don't have a hearing dog James, both Smudge and Harry belong to friends so I don't know which places in the Triangle are hearing dog friendly or not (apart from Lorenzo's of course). We all went into the Royal Albert after our meal because it's - relatively - quiet in there which meant we didn't have an awful lot of background noise to contend with. They were O.K. about the dogs as long as they were kept firmly on their leads.

So, as I don't have a Hearing Dog (yet) there is no need to worry whether places are friendly or not, but thank you for considering that. :)

Oops, sorry about that LizzieC I wasn't paying attention. Maybe I need a screen reading dog to help me with my observation skills. ;)

See you all tomorrow

No worries James. We all "scan read" from time to time.

Hope you all have fun tomorrow and wave your trainers under the doorman's noses as you pass by Patricks.

The social event is this evening, downstairs at Numidie from 7.30pm

I will probably be there earlier than the 7.30pm start, so if you are early just pop in anyway.

What a great turnout. Really fun night meeting up with people I've known for ages and new folks too. A special thanks to Silver for ordering those fantastic platters, which meant my hangover this morning wasn't quite as bad as it might have been. That was very kind of you.

It went well didn't it? There was a good turnout, at least a dozen, possibly more. A special thanks to Silver for her generosity laying on a spread for everyone.

Please vote for your choice of date and venue for our next social event in this poll...

Thanks to everyone who came - especially to those that came for the first time :P
