I thought those of us who use public transport would be interested to know that TFL is reducing the frequency of route 432 from March. There will be a maximum of 5 buses an hour during the day and 4 an hour in the evening. This is due to TFL starting a new route from Tulse Hill to Elephant and Castle. There is currently around 8 buses an hour in the morning rush so it represents quite a reduction.

Fantastic news. I use this to get the tube from Brixton at the mo and it's quicker than the 322 (get on in CP). Why do we always get a raw deal with transport? Well, I seem to.

Do we know what the number of the new route from Tulse Hill to Elephant and Castle will be?

Route 415, I believe.
It's a shame this route has been messed around with by tfl. The 2 used to provide a decent route into the west end and we lost that a few years ago. The frequency of the night bus service was reduced as well. Only one route to central london remains, the 3. I wonder how long we'll have that?

What route will the new 415 take - surely the 468, the 196 and the 68 already cover Tulse Hill to E&C

Why can't the daytime 2 make the last gasp up to Palace? Why does it stop at Norwood Garage?

According to the TFL web, route 415 follows route 2 as far as Brixton (via Tulse Hill) and then follows route 333 to the Elephant.

great, so not only are they considering reducing our trains, but our buses as well.

I thought the TFL are meant to improve our service...not take it away!!!?

Quite annoyed about this. We're poorly served in SE19 as it is, on all transport fronts. Tulse Hill already has the better train services to town and now another bus - and at our expense?

Hmmph. As it is I often have to wait 15 minutes to get a bus up to CP from WN.

I don't see the need for another route to E&C.

Is it a cycnical plan to make people change buses and pay more fares?

Spoon, we in WN need the better trains and buses to get us out of WN to somewhere decent to eat, drink and shop!

I thought that after I said it. You may have This That & The Other but you also have better transport. Swings and roundabouts, I suppose.

That is such a bizarre addition to the bus services

Dammit, I really like the 432 as I can catch it from the bottom of my street. Why don't we try complaining en masse to TfL and see if we can get the decision reversed?
