I've settled in for the footie and am currently consuming a bottle of Fuller's London Pride.

I'm awaiting Spooks's report on the wine fair. Did you survive? Find any gems we should know about?

Oh, and you don't need to go all Jilly Goulden on us, James May will do... :)

Jannism, after the first 50 they all begin to blur into one; and I even did some of that spitting out malarky (even if it does seem a crime against nature).... and I forgot all about the 'Drinks International Cocktail Challange finals'. The situation was not helped by having to get across town to a leaving do.... but all is now well witht he world; the sun is out and just spent luchtime in the garden of Jamie Oliver's uncle's pub.... it was a work meeting; honestly!!

Home-made mojitos. Are they real if you don't crush the ice, though?

Builder's tea. And water. Shortly to be an odd-looking but healthy orange thing.

I've been enjoying Anchor Steam and Liberty Ale from Feast up on the triangle. Might start working my way through the Greenwich Meantime beers they have there as well...

Round ours we're necking LIDL Rose in a box - and why shouldn't we be? (its 14%!) Saturdays never felt so mellow
