We will be holding our 32nd social event for members and friends of Virtual Norwood Forum at The Bridge House Tavern, 2 High Street, Penge, London SE20 8RZ on Thursday 24th July at 7.00pm

To help us to estimate numbers please vote in the poll.

This is a public event, not a private party, so there is no condition of entry and you can bring your friends with you too. If you are attending for the first time please ask at the bar for "Virtual Norwood"

For reviews of The Bridge House Tavern see this topic.

Unfortunately, I have my guitar lesson on a Thursday so won't be able to make it this time. Hopefully see you all next month though.

My email says the soft launches are on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd, LSPE, or have you been invited to something more exclusive?

It would appear that we have all been offered slightly different things. I'm going for a meal there next Wednesday night with someone who received an email inviting them to book a table for the 23rd. I thought it was odd that I hadn't got the email also but then today I got one inviting me to a drinks reception on Thurs 24th.

It's all a bit confusing but it seems there are launches throughout the week.

We did move the date to Thursday to avoid clashes with TER on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I guess you'll have to make your mind up where you would rather be! ;)

Good news. My guitar tutor is on holiday next week so I am now free on Thursday. Hope to see you all at the Bridge House.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again tomorrow evening. We packed Lorenzo's out at our last event so I expect this one will be well attended too - it certainly looks like it will based on the poll results. This event starts from 7pm, instead of the usual 7.30pm so if you fancy coming a bit earlier then that will be okay.

I didn't realise until today that trains from Penge West (right outside the pub) run direct to East Croydon in just 9 minutes with services every 30 minutes. Much better than getting on the 410.
