Hi Anthony, my father in law lived in Westow Street during the later parts of the war. I have a photo taken in the area adjacent to the old Crystal Palace and Westow Street.

Thanks for the link to A Walk through the Nave of the Crystal Palace 1854 on the Sydenham Town forum, SL. (I've only just come on to this thread, 3 months later!)

Great pictures indeed, I wish we had more of them displayed around the area. The Crystal Palace really was a weird and wonderful place. Reading through the thread I see someone is 'building' a Crystal Palace in Second Life: see Naergi's post on 24 Oct 2011 10:14. Someone should tell Ray!
