blow up the cp sports centre so they will have to rebuild it !

Not a good idea Dazza! Look how long it has taken them to rebuild the Crystal Palace... one corner section in 72 years!

I'm all for the London Borough of Norwood, with the Triangle at its centre. Where shall we put the Town Hall?

We have a purpose built command centre, ready and waiting, in the nuclear bunker of Pear Tree House. Maybe it could double up as the VN clubhouse? The secret password for admission is the date that CP burnt down.

At least it would answer those councillors for Croydon and sometimes Bromley who insist on speaking about their "town", in the process forgetting the whole borough apart from where their town hall sits!

Go to a rooftop party with a view over London, and another one with a view over the south.
Had a reasonable approximation (A VN friend, you know who you are!) which was marvy, but now I just want to go even higher.

Our place is up for rent and our terrace has views from Wembley to the Gherkin... in case you are interested! http://www.findaprop...p;agentid=01275

I'd like to ski down Anerley Hill. And I'd like to use the old main entrance for CP station.

Not skiing, but done sledging. And used the old entrance about 1982.

Open my own bar in the empty place opposite the Black Sheep... soooooo much potential.

Find out which guerrilla artist gave us those overnight cartoon kitties (still visible on a couple of walls) and bribe him (her?) to do some more!

Re-open the public toilets at the top of belvedere road

Ride one of the tractors from the shop on Church Road

Bring pack the films on the projector above the tractor shop throughout summer

Yes the projected films were fab.

I would like Woolworths or the old SG Smith showrooms to be a roller skating rink.
I would like the car wash area to be a car park for the town
I would like to see a boot fayre on the first floor of Sainsburys one evening with parking for it on the other floor
I would like to knock Iceland down and build another building more in keeping (design wise) with the area
I would like to see Plumbase as a cinema
I would like to see the land under farquar road used as a car park
I would like us all to be able to use the swimming pool at the health centre in Farquar road
I would like to see the bus lane gone and diagonal parking instead
I would like to see healthy fry ups introduced in all the cafes
I would like to see a small tam like carriage ride endlessly around the Triangle. Those who pop out for a ciggie could hop on - have their ciggie- and then pop off back at their venue.
I would like to see school children protected from bulies at school chucking out time
I would like to see pavement paintings - maybe Dinosaurs, Paxton, the C.P. etc all around the Triangle so that people were encouraged to walk all the way round.

tart up the entrance onto the triangle from the parade by:

Blowing up the huge billboard and repacing it with a floodlit waterfall
Populate the empty shops along the noodle time stretch of Church Road with something warm and inviting
Do something exotic with "Jack Beards" pub - maybe an arts centre - there are enough pubs around there already
Erect a big banner saying "Welcome to Crystal Palace Triangle"
Painting the bus station pink
Build some flats on the top corner of the park
OK - ignore the last one

OK, I've just moved to the area, so feel free to boo my idea, but I definitely think the Bingo hall should be gutted and turned into a cinema. A bingo hall downgrades the area, whereas a cinema would rejuvenate it. I'm even willing to stump up some cash, if someone thinks this could be done...

Wow! Now there's an offer! Maybe that's the local enterprise into which those prospective 1,000 stakeholders ought to be putting their money...

Which prospective 1,000 stakeholders?
