I am hoping that some of our local historians could advise me on how look up for details for this Frigate.

My father in law served on this during the 2nd War my searches on the net have found a few pictures & contact sites etc but are looking for more details etc.

Basically looking for websites & tips which could aid in my search etc

Cheers

Dazza

PS This ship was a bit a jonah by all accounts & saw little service as it always broke down or collided with harbour walls just prior to major battles. However I'm sure my Father in law has some fond memories of these mishaps !

'it always broke down or collided with harbour walls just prior to major battles' - is that why they called it the HMS Lucky?

I have seen a book in Brixton reference libary which may help

Janes fighting ships of two world wars. It seems to have at least a reference to all the war vessels.
