Awww...... I love a happy ending :hugkiss:

We went back to the Yak & Yeti for the first time in years a wee while ago - we had avoided it as R had been a little traumatised by a 'tangerine pulp' dish. I have to say we were very impressed - great food and lovely service, they even remembered us. Will definitely be back.

Cityview. I reckon Dazza's offer is a serious one if you ask me. I met him years back at a VN social. It must have been that long ago as Summit Lover didnt exist back then. I seriously thought we'd be 'taking it outside', but look at us now. Full on bromance! Nothing anyone says to me on a website would offend me.

Anyway Happy Hannukah, one and all

We had a meal there a few weeks ago - very good it was too. Not just your bog standard curry house menu and you could taste the different spices - always a plus!

We LOVE Yak & Yeti although a tad dark inside. The takeaway is exceptional. (I'm not forgetting my other spicy restaurant Ghurkha :)

Nepalese food was great when I was there - not sure Yak or Ghurka has reached those dizzy heights - but then it cost about the equiv of £1.20 so I maybe skewed by the value aspect - CP Tandoori gets my vote for the spicey venue round the triangle, followed by Neo - but its all subjective I guess

I've been to Nepal too, Chewie. Did the Anarpuna circuit. 19 days trekking with no support roads carrying my own pack. Absolutely stunning country. Nice people too.
