Does anyone know how I may go about getting a list and description of restaurants and other eating establishments that have existed in CP since the dawn of time. Also, if anyone has any memories of long gone (and not so long gone) places I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks in advance,

You'll need to list the roads that you consider to be "Crystal Palace". Then look them up in whatever censusses and local directories you can find online at Historical Directories and in Local Studies Libraries at Croydon, Bromley (for those within Penge and Anerley, e.g, Anerley Hill, Church Road, and CP Parade), Lewisham, and Lambeth. The last two have Kelly's London-wide directories, the coverage of which expanded over time and I don't know when the Crystal Palace area was included. The hard bit tends to be the period between WW2 when Kelly's stopped doing local directories for most places, and the 1970s when people like Thompson's started.
