Hi,

Can anyone recommend an English language course or school in the local area which our Au pair could attend?

Any suggestions most welcome!
Thanks!
Uka

There's one called King's School of English opposite the Spa sports centre in Beckenham, Uka, and there certainly used to be one in CP, but I can't remember the name of that.

they are based in the triangle (I asume they have not closed since 2008) - they are quite good according to my parents

I know of two. The one in Beckenham which seem to have been there decades, and one on Church Rd.
I knew the one on Church Rd as Angloschool, but a quick search for it shows it gone and been replaced by Select English.

I'm not up to date on the quality of either Schools.

The Italian waitress in Mediterranea was taking English classes, I think in the CP area. Seems to be working for her.

Hello all,

Thanks for all your responses, I've looked into the suggestions you made. It seems that ELT offer a suitable course for our au pair, and she'll go there next week to have a look!

Thanks again!
Uka
