...hmmm, failed in the attempt above so i'll try again! I'm a financial marketeer, specialising in document design. I'm an expert microsoft office user, quark user and adobe creative suite user. In short, I create complex but pretty (yep, they do exist!) financial documents. Not high street financials, but institutional. BA Business Admin, IMC qualified, certified microsoft office expert, certified advanced user in the other 2.

Also, as a small venture to mark our recent wedding, the wife and I have just opened up an online store: www.lakeandlake.co.uk

We sell jewellery, and had our first public outing at the recent Paxton Primary School Christmas Fair. I can thoroughly recommend that for any people interested next year. It was alot of fun and we'll hopefully return next year with a bigger broader range of stock. Its also the reason I was asking in another page about markets in the area, to get an occasional stall in the local area.

Right back on subject...I am a software expert, if you need to know how to use office, quark or creative suite (especially indesign or illustrator...give me vectors over raster anyday!) then i'm your man. Happy to help... but happier to get paid for it. Much to the chagrin of your average MAC user no doubt, i'll also point out that I'm a 100% PC.

Bye for now. :)

This is a great idea but needs to be better organised and searchable. I'm not quite sure how but I would be willing to help put a database together (Google Spreadsheet may be a good start? - Any other thoughts?)

Ok here's my bit. I'm am an experienced environmental consultant and auditor. I run a company called Resurgam Environmental (www.resurgamenv.com)

Education/skills: BSC hons.
Status: Self employed environmental consultant (www.resurgamenv.com). I am experienced in contaminated land investigation and remediation design, sustainability, corporate social responsibility and regulatory planning liaison.
Looking for: Work instructions, referrals, networking, advertising assistance, potential leads.
Can offer: Free intial consultation and local site visit. Would be happy to freely discuss and assist in any developments where contaminated land assessment is conditioned (it's more common than you think). There's a bottle of Scotch for anyone who can get me on the development team for the future CP park redevelopment works - I'd guess there's quite a few buried surprises towards the top end of the park.

Like the idea of the networking evening, Kevin. Any chance it could be held later than 6.30pm, though? I'd like to come, but only finish work at 6pm and still have to get back to CP. I imagine others may be in the same boat (or train or tube or traffic jam). :)

I'm not the one who instigated so it's still up for debate. Have a look at the following linked-in group where it is being discussed:

Hi All !

Introducing The Couture Cookie Shop - I am Selena local mother of 3 looking for new businesses who are having launch parties - an opportunity to showcase my work.

I bake and decorate cookies, cupcakes, celebration cakes and provide finger food buffets.

I have featured in Vogue Magazine and many local parenting magazines and so far the response has been fantastic but I would like more opportunities to showcase my work and the services I provide. I am happy to exchange ideas / products and just generally network with anyone who feels we could be of mutual benefit to each other.

I have professional qualifications, insurance and company registration to carry out such work.

My latest venture - holding cookie and cupcake workshops in family friendly restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

For details and images of my creations visit www.thecouturecookieshop.co.uk

Thanks !
